What we're about

Do you worry about making presentations in front of other people?

Are you nervous about giving a speech at a wedding?

Would you like to be able to speak at meetings effortlessly?

The ability to communicate effectively, in public, or in private, is an art; it is a social grace; it is a skill that can be learned, harnessed and developed.

HOD Speakers club can help you to discover and improve your communication skills at your own pace, while teaching others at the same time, in a friendly, fun, welcoming and supportive atmosphere.

The four main elements of every meeting are:

1. Inform - Speeches that inform and educate

2. Persuade - Talks that maybe challenge your beliefs and get you thinking

3. Inspire - Speeches that inspire and motivate you

4. Entertain - You'll be surprised at the amount of humour on an average night

HOD is part of Toastmasters International, which has clubs covering the globe, and we meet at
The Bridge,
Harrow Leisure Centre,
Christchurch Avenue

On the 1st & 3rd Thursday of every month, from 7.30pm. Note: in December, we only meet at this venue on the 1st Thursday.

Visit our website to see videos of our meetings plus lots of resources to help with communication and speaking in public. http://hod-tv.uk
