Details

Come hear Lightning Talks, including a Student Cluster Contest update and presentations on all the newest HPC & GPU gear being launched in 2022. If you have a Lightning Talk you would like to give, please contact us.

At 7:30 our special guest speaker Vijay Thakkar will present his HPC Industry Roundup: GTC edition. Vijay's talk will be split into two halves. The first half will focus on NVIDIA Hopper architecture details and other product announcements from GTC, and the second half will cover broader trends and announcements from the industry at large.

This will be our first in-person event since early 2020. Pizza will be provided to those who wish to join us.

We're also providing a stream for those attending remotely:

COVID-19 safety measures

COVID-19 vaccination required
Event will be indoors
In order to access MIT’s campus and MIT-sponsored events, invited visitors and event attendees must attest to being up to date on their Covid-19 vaccinations or having a religious belief or medical condition that prevents them from receiving the vaccine. All other campus visitors and attendees of MIT-sponsored events are strongly encouraged to be fully vaccinated (with booster when eligible) against Covid-19 unless they have a religious or medical exemption. https://now.mit.edu/policies/vaccination/
The event host is instituting the above safety measures for this event. Meetup is not responsible for ensuring, and will not independently verify, that these precautions are followed.
