Speakers:

Tayo is the CEO of UYD Management, a strategic leadership, media and consulting firm that helps corporations improve their bottom line by incorporating diversity, inclusion and social justice strategies. He has spent over 20 years working in 4 continents and is considered an authority in communicating effectively across cultures. He has spoken at the World Bank and United Nations Foundation, and his work has been seen on NowThis News, Huffington Post, Entrepreneur, Among Worlds Magazine and Global Living Magazine. He is the author of The Ultimate Guide To TCK Living and his work was featured in a German School book called ZOOM IN… Globalization. Through his podcast, blog and video shows, he is heard and read by thousands of people in over 100 countries.

Tayo will speak about "The 10 Commandments of Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace."

Elana leads the People Team at Rent the Runway, a disruptive online e-commerce website that allows women to rent designer apparel and accessories. She has a consistent history of achievement building cross-functional and global teams to meet business challenges. At Boxed, she is responsible among others for selecting and building people, developing leaders, shaping culture, spearheading organizational development, and driving people strategy. Elana is a recovering attorney, who previously worked at Viacom and Clifford Chance. She has an MBA from Wharton, JD from Georgetown and BS from Penn State. In her free time, she likes to travel, write, learn new things and spend time with her three kids.

Having crafted nimble and people-centric polices and programs for companies of all sizes, Jennifer is passionate about creating a world-class Employee Experience at SecurityScorecard, a cybersecurity and risk management company. Jennifer received her BS in Communications from Howard University, and she quickly fell into HR upon moving to NY. After working in Publishing, Advertising, the NYS Senate, and Edu-tech, Jen is well versed in HR best practices, and the creation of thoughtful and productive Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, especially in the start-up space. As collaborative as she is creative, Jennifer loathes 'HR as usual', and looks to ensure that both company and employees are supported and empowered... And that you don't freak out when she stops by to say 'Hi'.
