HAL 8.0
A cataclysmic solar storm is forecast to hit our galaxy during the regularly scheduled meetup period. Therefore, in the interest of the survival of the human race, we are postponing the meetup until the 18th September. In other words, I'm overseas travelling - No solar storm is occuring to my knowledge.
More than welcome come early from ~4pm, I'll be there setting up and drinking the early beers. The 18th also happens to be my birthday so I'll probably be Uber'ing home if anyone is interested in partying on a Wednesday. I'll have some practice boxes up and running to hack before the main event.
We will be revisiting Windows 2008, quickly get a shell then focus on privilege escalation and messing around in a Windows environment.
Doors will likely be locked from ~5.30pm, but one of us will come down every 5-10 mins and let people in. Otherwise call the number left outside on the glass.
We have a Slack Channel. Make an account, download the app on your phone/desktop and join us on:

Bring your hacktops. If you have an instance of Kali Linux installed that would be awesome. You can find a copy here: http://www.kali.org/downloads/
If you don't have Kali, I have some Kali boxes you can RDP into or SSH into
but you will need a laptop.
If you don't have a laptop, you are still more than welcome to come and observe.
There is a repository of resources available for people including all the frameworks we covered last time, tips on setting up Kali, and general information about pentesting. We will continue to add to this as we meet.
