November Hack Day

It's time for our next hack day!

Parallax hack days are innovation-packed days where we work on random, non-project or client-related ideas. Hack day is a great way of picking up transferable skills that become quite useful on future projects or campaigns.

Once again we've issued an open invite on this - join us if you're interested in tech and learning new stuff with a friendly bunch of people.

Here's how it works:

Tuesday 10th, 4:00pm on hack day-eve - get together to discuss ideas, collaborations and what people want to do.

Wednesday 11th, 9am on hack day - bring your A game, get cracking. Code, design, learn, play - we'll be serving a variety of meats, cheeses, and breads for breakfast. Lunch is on us as well.

5pm on hack day - 60 second summary of what you've done and why you found it interesting.

Provided:

Stuff we have here that you can use/have:

• Lots of Raspberry Pis

• Soldering iron

• 500/500mbit Internet

• Desks

• Chairs

• Food

• Drink (we have a bar - yay!)

• A few spare computers - Macs

Food and drink is provided throughout the day, we do tend to have a web design/development angle to what we get up to on the whole but if you think you have a suitable idea of what you want to work on that doesn't fit that criteria, bring it with anyway.

Internet's good and chairs are comfy, desk space provided although we would advise bringing a computer if you need one as we're a bit short on spares.
