Arduino Class - Working With LCD TFT screens

Details

Come join us at The North Branch Library to learn about the Arduino. In this class we will be covering the following:

Modules:

LCD TFT Screens (http://bit.ly/2gC6O3S) (15:40) In this lecture you learn how to add a TFT LCD screen to your Arduino project in order to produce colourful text and shapes. The lecture contains two demos in which you learn one of the common TFT LCD shields. In the first one, you learn how to use the screen itself, while in the second how to use the 5-button joystick that is integrated into the screen shield. Parts Needed:

Arduino UNO (http://amzn.to/2guHM9Z) LCD TFT Shield (http://amzn.to/2h2shnv) ** Presentations are shorter this week as we will be spending more time exploring the code on our own.

Course work for this class comes from Arduino Step By Step (http://goo.gl/5Uv71ft) which has over 20 hours of content in 110 lectures. These classes are designed for anyone interested in learning electronic design and C programming. No experience is required. Access to the course material is free at our meetups. If you wish to access the material outside the meetup see our coupons page to get a discount from our sponsor (http://www.hackerspacetech.com/pages/coupons.html).
