Hallo zusammen,

A star-studded line up for #hhber this month! Hosted by ZEIT Online, we’re very excited to bring you the following speakers' lightning talks...

•  Mike Tigas, web/mobile applications developer, journalist, and 2013 Knight-Mozilla OpenNews Fellow at ProPublica.

• The New York Times’ embedded OpenNews fellow, data journalist Brian Abelson.
Freelance journalist

• Anja Krieger on Climate News Mosaic, a collaborative journalism project covering the 2013 UN Climate Conference in Warsaw.

• Olcay Buyan, co-creator of Uzine, an app that allows users to extract content from news archives, and one of our Media Hackday winning projects.

• Localstream founder Jilles Van Gurp talking to us about a location stream graph for media (and the world).

Looking forward to seeing you there. As ever cheap drinks and snacks will be available, we start at 1900h!

Best wishes, the Hacks/Hackers Berlin team

Thanks for coming along everyone! I'm running a quick survey on how journalists use video. If you have two minutes to fill in, I'd be very appreciative. Thanks in advance!

Relevant projects, engaging talks, and smoothly presented by Adam. It's the second time i join an H/H meeting, and i have to say it's always going better. Probably a confirmation of the fact that bringing H & H together makes totally sense, and opens us a whole new world of probl... ahem ... challenges ...

    Thanks guys, see you soon!

Thanks everyone for a great evening! Apologies for the shameless promotion, but (of course there's a but!) we're organising a meetup about the upcoming Open Knowledge Festival in Berlin (it will be July 15-18, 2014) which will be a very participatory and community-led event. So, please join us on November 21 at Supermarkt to find out more and get involved! Details here:
Thanks! Any questions, ping me @zararah or Beatrice, Events Coordinator at the Open Knowledge Foundation @beatricemartini

Sadly can't make this one, have fun! And let me know if there are any hyperlocal initiatives we can help get off the ground in London!
