Lightning talks: Text mining, Tableau, bots and the class of 2016

Graduates from the MA in Online Journalism will be talking about their work in text, datavis, scraping and (TBC) bots.
• Barbara Maseda will show how she used text analysis tools in both Python and R to dig into speeches, social media updates and other data.

• Carla Pedret will talk about her investigation into the asylum applications system, the challenges of getting information and her use of Python for scraping court judgements
