Misinformation & the media (Rescheduled): Flash talks and happy hour discussion

We are convening a set of short flash talks and a happy hour to explore a few different aspects of misinformation and the media.

Doors open at 6pm and flash talks will begin promptly at 6:30pm.

Our speakers are:

• Dan Schultz, creator of Truth Googles, a project sponsored by the Duke Reporter's Lab Tech and Check Cooperative
• Kristina DeVoe, research librarian at Temple University
• Danya Henninger, editor of Billy Penn, a mobile-first news organization that is Politifact's Pennsylvania partner for fact checking
