1. An overview of the Cloud

Rami Sayar (http://ramisayar.com/), Senior Technical Evangelist, Microsoft Canada, will introduce the various cloud services models and explain the advantages and disadvantages of each. He will cover Software-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service and Infrastructure-as-a-Service as well as survey the largest cloud providers out there.

2. What's in it for journalists?

Roberto Rocha (http://robertorocha.info/), HH Montreal co-organizer and journalist with CBC Montreal, will give us a lightning tour of the various cloud services useful for journalists (Google Drive, Github (https://www.github.com/), Heroku (https://www.heroku.com/), etc.).
