The Rise of the Digital Assistant – How Voice Apps Work and the Opportunity for Business
Smart Speakers are so much more than just music playing devices. The UK has the third largest share of the global smart speaker market, with over 10% of households owning at least one device, bringing digital assistants and their voice apps into the hearts of consumer homes.
Stephen, who developed the first UK business voice app for Google Home, will give a non-technical overview of how smart speaker / smart display apps work, together with the potential opportunities for business.
Stephen will also share his vision for how digital assistants could change the way we consume the internet, moving us towards a conversational 'bite-sized' web.
Pizza and drinks will be provided on the night, courtesy of Covea Insurance.
