For our 9th meet-up, we will be joined by Lindsay Sill. As the former CEO of WestGrid, Lindsay led Western Canada's academic research supercomputing resources, bringing together computer and data facilities and computational expertise to tackle some of Canada’s biggest research challenges.
As the founding CEO of Quantum Algorithms Institute in British Columbia, Lindsay is taking on the challenge of educating industry about the potential of quantum computing. With a career that did not start in computer science, hear about Lindsay's journey and her outlook on the future of computer science adoption in Canada and women in STEM.
