Thank you to Weever Apps for being our sponsor for this event. There will be pizza and beverages available for all attendees.

The HamOnt JavaScript meetup is open to everyone interested in programming in JavaScript, regardless of skill level or experience.

This month for the last meetup of the year, we'll be doing some more lightning talks!

Shalom will show some design best practices to instantly make your code look a whole lot better with just a few lines of CSS, illustrated with some real-world case studies. You'll also gain some helpful resources to enhance your design skills even further. Shalom Shore is web designer, UX architect, and entrepreneur, with a background in WordPress, Ad Tech, and Startup development.

Rob Porter will be talking about `Practical Monads in JS: A talk about monads from a practical perspective`. If you have ever wondered what a monad was this will be a great talk to catch! Rob is a co-founder and the Chief Innovation Officer at Weever Apps.

(Last minute Edit) Jen is unable to attend tonight so Jamie Allen will be giving a quick overview of Cypress and how it might make your E2E testing needs less out of reach than you thought. He's a senior Rails/Vue developer currently working at Weever Apps.

Other talks to be announced shortly!
