The Hamblin Centre is an educational and therapeutic centre, spiritual sanctuary and gathering place in Bosham, West Sussex, nestled between Chichester and Portsmouth. Fashioned entirely from wood, it is set in three acres of beautiful gardens which include a tranquil pond, a meditation sanctuary and a bountiful selection of plants and trees. Our purpose is to enable people to experience health, happiness and inner fulfilment.

Our Centre is set in three acres of idyllic surroundings, so do visit and enjoy the peace, beauty and tranquillity.

In the hall there are weekly classes in Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates as well many different complementary therapies.

We have many rooms for hire by therapists and a large timber hall for local events, conferences and retreats.

Let's Meetup and Sing Together for Fun

Quivers and Quavers Singing Group- non singers welcomed with open arms! Come sing with us! Everyone is welcome to this series of workshops in which we we will sing together weekly for enjoyment, health and relaxation. Together we will create a safe and welcoming space to explore our voices, and free ourselves to make beautiful music without stress, shame or judgment. Nervous or uncertain singers are very welcome, as well as those who feel more confident. Regular weekly attendance is encouraged, in order to build vocal skills and confidence. Mantimoon Six Week Poetry Writing Course

Mantimoon Six Week Poetry Writing Course ‘Connect With Your Creativity’ Join freelance writer and poet Lottie Angell on a course designed to break down mental barriers that stop you from writing and advance your poetry writing skills. You will have the opportunity to write each week and learn: • New poetic techniques and how to apply them. • Fresh approaches to form, style and editing. • What makes poetry by renowned poets so successful. • Meditation and creative writing exercises to help you write powerful poetry that resonates with readers. Suitable for: Adults of mixed abilities who write for themselves, on a blog or with the hopes of publishing/entering competitions. Dates: Weekly from Fri 22/02/19 – Fri 29/03/19 @ 6.30 pm – 8.30 pm. Lets Meetup to Play, Laugh and Relax Together

The Chichester Laughter Club has been running at the Hamblin Centre for over ten years. In the club, we explore laughter in a myriad of ways for health and happiness, helping us to reduce stress, relax and re-energise. Meetings begin with simple warm-up exercises, followed by a variety of activities and Laughter Yoga exercises. Laughing with others in a group is highly infectious! We finish with a laughter meditation and relaxation to calm the body and mind and to enjoy the wonderful peace that results from genuine laughter. All are welcome. Cost £10 - profits are shared with the Hamblin Centre . (Teas and refreshments included.) • What to bring Wear comfortable clothes and a willingness to have some fun. • Important to know No experience necessary. This is a really friendly group and we have newcomers at every Meetup.

Let's Meetup and join an Aurora Gathering

Aurora Gathering 1:45 pm (for a 2:00 start) - 3:30 pm (library) "Leave your beliefs and coats at the door... and listen to what your intuition has to say.” Geoff Napier All are welcome to join us for a totally unstructured discussion group in the library at the Hamblin Centre. Cygnus Community Café Gatherings were originally an inspiration of Cygnus members and friends to offer “places to meet for open heart-to-heart communications, free from mindsets, belief systems or dogmas”. The unstructured format is now being continued through the Aurora Gatherings instigated by Geoff Napier, the co-founder of Cygnus Books. Donation welcome to cover costs.
