Unity Engine for Software Engineers
Unity is one of the most popular Engines supporting cross-compilation to 25+ platforms.
Unity Applications are developed in C#, but differ from traditional .Net Applications.
We want to give you an introduction to Unity, coming from a software engineering background.
We will show you the concepts, common patterns, challenges and also how to write Unity plugins.
Of course we will also give you the documentation links required to jump into Unity Development yourself.
Although we wont have enough time to turn this into a real workshop,
feel free to install Unity[masked]f3 (exact versions are important, more on that in the talk)
Benjamin Justice (Senior Software Engineer at Namics) and Eike Wulff (Software Engineer at Capgemini) started hobby Game Development in 2013 and also worked 1,5 years professionally with Unity during their studies.
