Explorer Post- Tower Crane Showdown - Black & Veatch private event

THIS IS A PRIVATE EVENT - The students will be competing in a challenge called the Tower Crane Showdown in which they will fabricate a truss bridge and a tower crane and they will compete to use their cranes to load their opponents’ bridge until one of the bridges fails. Last team standing wins. This project will involve wood and light metal fabrication, 3D printing components, gears/pulleys/cables/small motors, embedded single board computer programing, and simple electrical control circuits.
