Second Meetup for June

Hey everybody, this will be the second meetup for June. Basically, the meetup group will meetup twice a month. However, I will not have meetups in July because the location that supports the event will pretty much be closed as everybody goes on vacation. For our warmup intro, Olof Rännbäck Garpinger will quickly go over one of the most popular data science tools out there called R! It is a free open source language and environment which can be used to import raw data, tidy, transform, visualize, and model. R is highly known for having a wide variety of statistical and graphical techniques and its ease to create well-designed plots. So, this might be a good opportunity to meet other R enthusiasts and tackle the dataset of the event together. About the speaker: Olof Rännbäck Garpinger has a PhD in Automatic Control from Lund University, and has worked as a consultant since 2009. He has long experience in data analysis using both R and Matlab, and is an avid fan of the Tidyverse.
