This experimental group encourages male writers of erotica to respond to other men's erotic writing and to have their own work critiqued constructively (usually after reading aloud). The assumption is that each participant writes erotica or wants to try writing erotica for publication or simply pleasure. The scope of erotica is not limited--anything goes as long as it remains fantasy/on paper. It need not include a romantic component, that is, "extreme" erotica is welcome.
The fun part of this is the requirement that inhibitions be left at the door, and the option that clothing be left there, too. I trust my intellectual instincts about what I write, but I also appreciate when natural physiological feedback lets me know that what I've written really is hitting the spot. Listeners should feel comfortable enough to express themselves verbally and physically as they feel the need, and the author of the moment may include a show-and-tell component. This requires respecting boundaries, but it could be quite the compliment to a writer if interactive activity ensued. This may redefine multitasking for some of us.
While this is a men's group, all sexualities are welcome, and the same is true for subject matter (including aliens, if you write sci-fi). I'd like transgender persons to feel welcome, if comfortable with the male-identified dynamic.
I myself am a male who identifies primarily as gay and qualifies for the senior discount at IHOP. Neither, however, limits my erotic fantasies or sexual energy level.
