I. The Purpose of the Workshop:

Following up on last year’s meetup “Agile Maturity—Fad, Trend or Holy Grail? (https://www.meetup.com/Hands-on-Agile-Berlin-Chapter-Meetup/events/244713211/)”, and the first workshop of February 3rd, 2018, we want to continue working on a prototype of an agility assessment framework. We want to ship a prototype at the end of the day.

II. The Intended Outcome:

The prototype shall support agile practitioners in assessing, for example:

• Whether an organization shall consider embarking on a journey to become agile?

• What level of agility might be suited for a specific organization?

• What may the return on investment of such a journey be?

• How an organization in transition may track progress over time.

The outcome of the workshop will be available to all participants — feel free to fork it for your purposes.

III. Your Preparation:

Please check out the survey results of the Agile Maturity—Fad, Trend or Holy Grail (https://www.slideshare.net/wolpers1/handson-agile-agile-maturityfad-trend-or-holy-grailsurvey-results) poll in advance as it provides an essential taxonomy of factors, elements, patterns, and influencers.

Also, please have a look at the slide-deck of the first workshop — see https://www.slideshare.net/wolpers1/handson-agile-the-agility-assessment-framework-workshop — as it provides insight into some agility indicators that were not identified by the original survey.

IV. Please Note — Participation in the Workshop Requires a Fee of € 10:

It is hard to organize a worthwhile workshop based on no-show-rate of 60-plus percent. Hence we decided to charge € 10 for the participation. The fee will be used to cover, for example, lunch.
