Rather than focusing in on your breath or repeating a mantra, all you have to do is focus inward on your heart to cultivate inner strength and serenity. You will experience heartfulness techniques, including relaxation and meditation,that nurture inner balance, well-being and expanded consciousness. We will also look at recent scientific studies confirming the importance of meditation on physical, mental and emotional well-being. This practice involves being seated comfortably for 15 to 20 minutes in silence with closed eyes. A videotaped Masterclass, featuring Heartfulness teacher and president of the Heartfulness Institute, Kamlesh D. Patel, briefly explains the practice and guides you to relax and tune inward to begin the meditation. Each session includes a Q & A.
