Tat Tvam Asi is a Sanskrit phrase, which could mean "Thou art that" (You are that, or That you are). It is one of the Mahāvākyas in Vedantic Sanatana Dharma.

This bilingual book is the ninth annual anthology of Indonesian writing published by the Ubud Writers and Readers Festival (UWRF) since the founding of its signature Indonesian Emerging Writers Program in 2008.

"The creation of the anthology comprises a rigorous selection process, during which open invitations are sent to literary communities and authors across the archipelago, who are asked to send the works of their local writers for consideration," says I Wayan Juniarta, Indonesia Program Manager for UWRF, as quoted from its introduction page.

This year, a curatorial board headed by respected author Seno Gumira Ajidarma, playwright and poet Iswadi Pratama, writer Sonia Piscayanti, and poet Ketut Yuliarsa, have selected 16 works to be included in the publication.

Don't miss a chance to meet three talented writers who contributed their stories in the book, as we'll have a friendly discussion, book reading, while accompanied by the delicious Indonesian set menu kindly prepared by our host, Casa Luna.
