    FREE COMMUNITY EVENT! Learn about the mission of New Hope Ministries, a social service agency that serves neighbors in times of need and supports their efforts towards stability. Take part in a mock food pantry simulation and act as part of a family in need. Each attendee will be given fake allocation funds and a description of their family's needs. Attendees will then have to stretch their funds as far as possible to get food, toiletries, etc. for the month.     Building Future Leaders of York County (BFLYC) is the first conference of its kind in York, Pa. Eight different York County organizations – including Hanover Area Young Professionals (HAYP) – are combining forces to bring this valuable conference to the future leaders of York. The day will incorporate several educational sessions on what it takes to be an organizational leader. The day includes three break out session of your choice, sitting in on a panel of CEOs, networking with people within the community, and listening to a distinguished keynote speaker. Breakfast, lunch, and a social hour are also included in your registration. This year, the BFLYC committee is pleased to announce James Robbins as the key note speaker for the conference. He will speak on "The Three Areas of Leadership Mastery": inspiring leadership, personal mastery, and powerful presenting.   • 3 v 3 Basketball Tournament


    Hanover Area Young Professionals, York Young Professionals, and Launch Carroll are coming together to offer a 3 on 3 basketball tournament in preparation for March Madness. This event is open to all community members to participate. Players of all abilities are welcome for this fun event! This event is presented by Members 1st Federal Credit union and is hosted by the Hanover Area YWCA. Join us for tournament-style play. All teams will be guaranteed multiple games. The final number of games will be determined by the number of teams that register. A winner's bracket will be determined for the final games of the day based on records and points. Registration will be open until March 6. Schedule 9:30 a.m. – Registration 10 a.m. – Qualifier Games Begin 1 p.m. – Lunch Break 2 p.m. – Winner’s Bracket Begins 3:30 p.m. – Awards Presentation 4 p.m. – Happy Hour Mixer Teams may be composed of three or four players, but only three members will be allowed on the court at one time. Teams can be single gender or co-ed. All registrations include lunch, snacks, happy hour/mixer, door prizes, and a commemorative dri-fit t-shirt (non-player attendees may opt out of the t-shirt).
