The Happiness Project KC aims to create a stress-free environment, provide engaging activities that promote physical, emotional, and mental well being, and educate people on the importance of mental health. We are a group of positive thinking, fun seeking, active people who enjoy events that better ourselves.
Some of our planned future events include: 1) Chalk up KC: leave positive messages in chalk around Kansas City 2) Hug a puppy: joint venture with KC pet project to pet away stress 3) Cook your stress away: learn how to make easy comfort food during stressful periods. 4) Create Happiness photography: a collection of photos of happy places, people, and things, featured on our website. 5) Learn about stress management and mental well being from renowned speakers and educational talks. 6) Host our annual Happiness Week: a week of cool activities with local vendors, food trucks, and mystery games. 7) Gratitude jars making event: create your own customized jar to put self motivating notes in every day. 8) Meditation and yoga: practice meditation and yoga to better mental and physical well being
