What we're about

There isn't anything like relaxing at the end of the week with friends and just having a great get together.

We are a group of interesting men and woman, curious, attractive singles 50 and older looking to enjoy a Happy Hour at the end of the week along with cultural events ranging from the arts to perhaps self improvement. We do not say no to learning new things for when you always say no, you do not learn anything new. We will offer thought provoking activities to expand your interests and help you form different views on many subjects.

We will be lighthearted and joyful and always happy to meet and greet new people.

We are open to suggestions from our members along with their assistance in finding activities for our group. We can only succeed with the help of each other. Always open for another member to be a host for an activity that is of interest to them.

You will have a 30 day free trial to join with membership yearly dues of $11.00. If you do not remit dues after the 30 days you will be removed from out listing and unable to view our activities.

We welcome members to bring a guest as they wish once prior to that guest joining.

If a paid member is removed due to excessive "no shows" or due to behavior not in line with our values their yearly $11.00 membership will not be refunded. Hopefully this will never arise.

It is our wish that you will join and be an active participating member. The more diverse we are the more interesting we will become.

REMEMBER ~ Every time you are wrong you have learned something new!

J's Crab Shack

This place might be new to many of you but I have been going here for too many years to count. Their HH is from 4 to 6 but their prices are so reasonable you might want to stay until 7:00 p.m. or later Reduced drink menu and about 3 HH food items. Plenty of parking. You can check out their menu on line. I don't believe that you will be disappointed. Please bring cash in the event they won't take separate. If you cannot attend please make sure to change your RSVP.

CREC Arts ~ Greater Hartford Academy of Arts ~ Choreographers' Showcase

Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts

Directed by Alexa Melonopoulos October 26; 7:30 p.m. Main Stage Theater; $20 and $15 adults, $15 and $10 students/seniors I personally like to arrive early for parking and seating. I have never been disappointing by any of their productions. As the time draws nearer we can discuss if there is any interest to having dinner prior to the performance. If we do have dinner prior lets go someplace nice and make it an evening! There is a safe parking garage in the back of the building. You can park in the garage or outside.
