Meet at 30 Komatsu Dr SE Cartersville Ga 30121 Pine Mt West loop trailhead. Hike starts at 11:45
10- 12 mile hike, near 2000 feet elevation gain. We will hike 4 different trails that all connect. Hike both the west and east Pine Mt loops, Archer Overlook, Laurel Ridge, Cooper's Furnace and Etowah River trail. We'll stop for a snack at the Etowah River (5 mile mark, nice restrooms available).
Some highlights of this hike include David Archer Overlook, Allatoona Dam Overlook, Cooper's Furnace site, Battle of Allatoona location, pretty views of the Etowah River.
We'll hike a moderate pace.
