We will explore all of these activities in a wide range of workshops led by different leaders. We are meditators, breathwork specialists, plant-based chefs, ayurveda experts, outdoor enthusiasts and so much more. Weekly Meditations

Ayurveda Vancouver

Come join us for a weekly drop-in Guided-Meditation class ending with soothing tea and mindful conversations. Our teachers have been practicing and teaching meditation for over 15 years and create a very light and informal environment to come together to meditate. Whether you are a beginner, meditating for the first time or a long-time meditator, we make this class suitable for both groups. With simple yet powerful pranayama techniques (breath work) and some guidance, it becomes effortless to go into a deep state of samadhi (meditation). The class will end with musical rhythms the help us experience a peaceful, calm, and blissful state of mind. Every Wednesday (starting March 13, 2019) at 6:30pm - 7:30pm By Donation (at the door)

Sanskrit Music and Meditation Social - Kirtan Night at Bridge & Enrich

Bridge & Enrich Lives Society

Join Vancouver's vibrant Art of Living community for an evening of live sanskrit music and meditative good vibes among an uplifting group of happy and uplifting yogis and meditators. Kirtan is an ancient and joyful practice of simply coming together and singing. Although this idea exists in all cultures, Kirtan or “Satsang” as its also called, consists of sounds, or mantras, strung together to have an uplifting effect on the nervous system. Did you know that each sound vibrates in different parts of the body? When we sing and surround ourselves with positive company, we are able to let go, dissolve negative emotions and see things as they really are. A Kirtan session is usually call and response, so everyone can participate and benefit, even non-singers! We have been facilitating Kirtan sessions for many years, and invite you to come along and learn this simple and joyful art of letting go and dissolving in the vibrations of ancient instruments and a gentle guided meditation after. We recommend a $5 donation at the door to support the venue :)
