Happy Class is about developing joy right now in this moment - not when you get a better love-life or financial situation, not when your boss quits or the world finally changes for the better. Right now. There is a science to happiness. It is studied and taught at Harvard and other universities. The US Dept. of Defense applies this science for soldiers suffering PTSD.  The exercises and information presented in this class are based on those programs.

In Happy Class, you'll participate in exercises that can change your outlook on life right away.  You’ll learn how habits form in the brain and body and a simple technique for signaling your mind and body that you are breaking an old habit.  The second half of each class is devoted to relaxation and healing techniques - restorative yoga, Reiki energy work and healing breathwork taught by guest teachers.

Happy Class 101 is collaboratively taught by Alana Cash and Cameron Cash:

Alana is an award-winning author and filmmaker who made a documentary about Anna Freud and her psychological work with developing children.  Alana taught the study of character at the University of Texas Informal Classes and a myth-writing class at the Jung Institute.  

Cameron is a 200HR Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and a certified Restorative Yoga Teacher, with over 12 years of experience practicing yoga. He has a calm and confident presence and a passion for helping his students become more limber and tap into a well of self-love that they can carry with them every day.
