What we're about

The purpose of this group - to drive hardware startups towards success through casual networking events, lectures, knowledge-sharing sessions, and grow the community. Whether you’re an early-stage startup, a seasoned manufacturing expert, or just someone that wants to learn, this is the place for you.

This meetup facilitates events specifically aimed for Hardware and IoT startups. We want to create a community of engineers, designers, entrepreneurs, and makers who come together to learn from each other, and help each other grow.

This group is sponsored by ANSYS Startup Program which supplies innovative discounted simulation products for early stage Startups building virtual prototypes of new products. Join dozens of our members who successfully went through the program! https://ansys.startupblink.com/

Are you building your hardware startup from home?

We have a great discount for you in the world’s leading coworking network, WeWork. Check it out and schedule a free tour here: https://wework.startupblink.com/

Who organizes the events?

We rely on the local community to organize the events for the group. We would also like to curate some events on behalf of other organizers. Let us know if you hear about events that other members would be interested in. You may also become a group leader and take charge of the group, reach out to us for details.

ABOUT US StartupBlink's curators frequently recommend quality Hardware Startup Events. This time, our recommended event is organized by ANSYS, which offers discounted simulation tools and virtual prototypes for early stage Hardware Startups. Find out if you’re eligible and apply to ANSYS Startup Program here: https://ansys.startupblink.com ABOUT THIS EVENT This event is organized by ANSYS. *** Mark your attendance here (top-right of the page), then register using the link below *** https://www.ansys.com/other/cloud-seminars Follow this link for the most up-to-date info about event’s time and location. - In collaboration with Microsoft Azure, ANSYS has developed and launched an all new cloud solution — ANSYS Cloud. Join us for a half-day seminar to learn how ANSYS Cloud provides easy and instantaneous access to on-demand HPC in the cloud directly from within ANSYS Mechanical and ANSYS Fluent. ANSYS Cloud delivers the speed, power and compute capacity of cloud computing directly to your desktop — when and where you need it. You can run larger, more complex and more accurate simulations to gain more insight into your product — or you can evaluate more design variations to find the optimal design without long hardware/software procurement and deployment delays. Now your business does not need additional investment in hardware or a business relationship with third-party cloud vendors to scale up your engineering simulations. With ANSYS Cloud, the hardware is preconfigured and highly optimized for ANSYS solvers to give you optimal speed and cost. Note: All seminar attendees will be eligible for a 30-day FREE trial to run either ANSYS Mechanical or ANSYS Fluent simulations on the Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN? In this seminar you will hear from simulation and HPC experts at ANSYS and Microsoft. You will see a live product demonstration and learn how you can: - Solve your ANSYS simulations in the cloud without the burden of configuring the cloud environment, installing licenses or engaging a cloud provider. - Access the hardware and software you need, when you need it — pay only for what you use. - Interactively monitor job progress from anywhere — via your desktop application or a web portal on your computer, tablet or smartphone. - Inspect and validate your simulation results while they are in the cloud from anywhere, on any device, via a web browser. - Easily share simulation files with peers or ANSYS Support. WHO SHOULD ATTEND This seminar is designed for Mechanical and Fluent users and engineering and information technology (IT) managers. ____ Building a hardware requires a proper working environment, like WeWork - the world’s leading coworking network with over 240 locations worldwide. WeWork offer up to 15% discount to our members and you can claim your discount and schedule a free tour here: https://wework.startupblink.com
