Joyful Laughter Yoga Club with Robert Rivest!
Come join us for laughter, exercise, and a super fun social experience! WHEN: EVERY SUNDAY EVENING @ 4:45 pm to 5:45 pm COST: Free. Donations will be accepted for the space. We start each club session with mindful breathing, easy flowing movements, and a few fun vocal warm-ups. This leads to a series of playful, interactive, laugh inducing exercises (that can easily be adapted to fit your abilities, mood or energy level). Our group laughter is joyfully simulated with full body laughter exercises, clapping, eye contact and youthful playfulness. The simulated laughter soon turns into real and contagious laughter that lifts our spirits, connects us, and carries over into our every day lives. After the exercises we do a little laughter meditation and end with a few peaceful moments of guided relaxation. AGES: All Ages Welcome. PARKING: If you're facing the building, the parking is located on the right of the building. INSTRUCTOR: Robert Rivest, certified Laughter Yoga teacher, http://www.robertrivest.com ***More people will be at the class than RSVP through Meetup. Robert Rivest's Laughter Club has been celebrating laughter every Sunday for the past 5 years and usually has around 10 people in attendance. ***

What people have to say about Laughter Yoga:

“It is a perfect way to laugh and get exercise at the same time. . . . . I’ve tried it, and it works.” - Oprah Winfrey (http://www.laughteryogaamerica.com/read/news/oprah-show-reggie-stress-lifted-soul-lifted-body-701.php)

“Laughter puts the most powerful anti-depressants to shame.” - Dr. Andrew Weil.

“I was in a vile, despicable mood when I arrived at laughter yoga. . . . An hour later I floated out onto Broadway, ready to break into song and speed-dial a few friends to sign them up for the next class. This stuff worked.” - New York Times (http://cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/08/21/stretch-laughter-yoga-serious-benefits/)
