Mindfulness of Breath/Ambient Sound Meditation

Hosted By
Rick H.

Details
Join us for a secular mindfulness meditation in which we pay attention either to our breath or to sounds in the environment. Guidance for both meditations will be provided. No previous experience with meditation is necessary. If you have any questions, email rick@humanisthub.org.
----------
The meditation is in the basement of the library at Harvard's Science Center. Enter the building from the main plaza where the food trucks are located. Walk into the Clover Cafe, look to your right and you will see the entrance to the library. Just tell the security guard you are going to the meditation. Once in the library, take the stairs to the basement turn left, and keep walking to to the glass-enclosed room at the end.
Our meditations have been collected into a book published by New World Library: Secular Meditation: Practices for Cultivating Inner Peace, Compassion, and Joy (http://www.newworldlibrary.com/BooksProducts/ProductDetails/tabid/64/SKU/83697/Default.aspx).
We also have a Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/207307035531/).
