What we're about

Haskell Hangout is a group for people interested in using, discussing, and learning about the Haskell programming language. We gather once a month to cover various Haskell materials, including important papers, techniques, tools, and libraries. We may also watch and discuss presentations from programming conferences, or, if there's interest, we may work together on open source code and/or documentation in order to give something back to the Haskell community.

We're interested in both the theoretical and practical applications of the language.

This is a group-driven effort, so please come ready to suggest topics or activities, and to participate.

We are happy to welcome people of all skill levels: no prior Haskell knowledge required to join!
