About the place :The design of the park includes Rolling Meadows, water bodies, and lush green grass lands. For people who would like to retire shortly from the city life, the garden is an excellent choice for beginners who plan to start bird watching sessions .Many shrub birds and woodlands birds such as ashy prinia, flower peckers common iora and aquatic birds such as cormorant , common coot purple swamphen are common.

How do we go:
we shall meet at Botanical Gardens main gate @ 5 : 45 am .
What do we do: Try to watch and know about as many birds as possible this place is famous for many aquatic birds & passerine birds (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passerine) .
Do not RSVP if you are not sure of attending this meet up.
Cost :Rs 10 for entrance + Rs 15 if u have a camera + Rs 50 for HAT’s Club Maintenance Charges
What to get: Camera with a good lens would be helpful

Water bottle (enough to carry at least 2 liters of water).

Energy Food (Chocolate bars, flavored milk, Electrolyte drinks - Glucon-D, etc)
Get a pen/pencil and a book to note down the names of birds . this will be useful for further reference.
If u are only interested in photography not in the subject kindly wait till the discussion is finished as it is rude to ignore when some is sharing useful information.
