What we're about

Hawaii After Dark has been meeting for over 7 years.

In January 2012 - we opened up the group by posting on Meetup.com. We also are on Facebook as well as a Private members email list.

This is an open group - anyone that wants to meet new people. This group is about being low-key... no pretentious attitude or political agendas allowed. You don't need to know anybody. A diverse group ~ making new friends ~ socializing ~ getting together to unwind.

Our mid-week socials are primarily on Wednesday ~ Hump Day ~ we frequent local restaurants, wine bars, gastro pubs for pupus and refreshments / cocktails during the "Happy Hour".

Hawaii After Dark also supports and promotes several Make-A-Wish Hawaii FUNraising events throughout the year.

We start at 5:30 pm or when you get there and ends when you leave. If you are new - track down the hosts and we'll be sure to introduce you to a handful of people. Invite friends, if they cannot come at the same time ~ tell them to ask for Ron or Debra Jo and we will introduce them around as well.

Admission: None - buy your own drinks and pupus.

No pressure ~ no worrys & wallflowers are always welcome!

Life is what we decide to make it. Our Hump Day Socials are always casual and enjoyable. I cannot think of a better way to live it than to have a weekly gathering and enjoy each other’s company in a casual environment.

Good people, good food and good grog.

Our objective is to create an atmosphere similar to having friends over ~ hanging out & relaxing.

So - don't be shy... come join us for a mid-week evening to unwind with fabulous food, drinks and friendly company.

You will not find a better local group who will welcome you as if you were a long lost friend - sharing bad jokes and enjoying each others company.

The choice is yours ~ you won't know what you are missing if you don't at least get out once in a while and see what it is like to meet new people with no strings, no stress, no expectations...

No networking

NO POLITCAL AGENDAS!!!!

no pick-ups

no strangers...just friends that have not met.
