The inauguration is over, and Donald Trump is officially the president. So now what do we do? We keep marching on—literally and figuratively.

For those of you who joined in the Women's March on Saturday (and for those who wanted to but couldn't), they've set up a campaign called 10 actions in 100 days. The first action is to write a postcard to our senators and tell them what we are most passionate about, be it women's rights, health care, trans rights, or infrastructure. We will keep making our voice heard, even if it seems like no one is listening.

During the first half of this event, we will write our postcards together and share our passions. During the last half, I want us to think of ways we can impact our community, whether the impact is big or small. For instance, in the past we wrote letters of appreciation to the San Jose Police Dept, and a few members have also put up positive and loving signs around schools.

Come with your ideas for campaigns to spread positivity, encourage volunteerism, and help others. As Angela Davis said, "you have to act as if it were possible to radically transform the world. And you have to do it all the time."
