Meetup in Eindhoven "Patient inclusion by design - at Dutch Design Week"

Following our previous week’s event ‘Patient Included’ in Amsterdam, we are thrilled to bring you this follow-up at the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME:
Have you ever been to an event about “Patient-centred design” that didn’t include a single patient?
Ever wondered why there are so many products and services to assist patients in managing their chronic conditions and so few patients using them? It seems like everyone agrees the patient’s needs should be considered but very few are able to do so successfully. In order to address this problem, we have decided to dedicate an evening to insights, practices and tools that can help entrepreneurs and healthcare professionals to be more patient-centric.

Join us for an event where patients will take centre stage and share their journeys as patients in healthcare and learn how they manage their disease in their daily life through technology and other means. They will also share what we need to hear about what works and what doesn’t and how (health)care can be improved.

This event will also include examples and tools from entrepreneurs and designers of patient-led research and patient inclusive design.

During this event, we want to:

• Share tools and experiences involving patients in the design process
• The pros and pitful of 'designing for patients' vs 'designing with patients'
