Health 2.0 Manchester is a meetup group focused on innovations in the delivery of healthcare and health related technology. This group is dedicated to creating a community around digital healthcare in Manchester as part of the international Health 2.0 movement (http://www.health2con.com). This community aims to share, discuss, showcase and develop ideas to improve patient care. If you are interested in the intersection of health care and information and communication technology, this is a community for you. Technology enthusiasts, developers, students, academics, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, patients, designers, social workers, NHS leaders, industry and entrepreneurs are welcome.

Health 2.0 has introduced over 500 technology companies to the world stage, hosted more than 9,000 attendees at conferences and code-a-thons, awarded over $2,823,000 in prizes through developer challenge program and inspired the formation of 90+ new chapters in cities around the globe. Health 2.0 (globally) has grown into a movement of over 100,000+ entrepreneurs, developers, and healthcare stakeholders.
Population health management refers to ways of bringing together health-related data to identify a specific population that health services may then prioritise. But with so many sources of relevant data, and the continuous increase in population what examples of prevention and population health management are we seeing today in Greater Manchester, the North and beyond?
This meetup will explore a few examples of how digital technology is changing and helping population health management.
