    What we're about

The Washington D.C. Health 2.0 meetup is a network of DC, Maryland, and Virginia health enthusiasts that represent a range of backgrounds. Members include federal entities focused on research, technology, and communications, such as the NIH; non-profit organizations; start-up firms; and non-government organizations in general health, health IT, and biotechnology. Our Health 2.0 community comes together to meet, share, and learn from one another in order to actively contribute to improving the healthcare system and advancing human health.

Throughout the year, we invite experts in the fields of biotechnology, digital communications, health IT, and healthcare innovation to discuss technology breakthroughs and recent advancements in patient-centered care. Speaker presentations are followed by a lively discussion and Q&A with the audience.
