Baker Botts has kindly organised an evening with two extremely distinguished speakers to tell you everything a good entrepreneur needs to know about exits at this free session. Exits are where entrepreneurs begin to cash in on all their hard work and long hours; some become very rich.

As planning for your exit should start when you establish your company, it is critically important to know what your options are now, in time to ensure that when the time comes, you are prepared, so you can secure the maximum value for the organisation you have personally established and grown.

Neil Foster, corporate partner at Baker Botts, and David Blair, chartered accountant and chief financial officer of a number of companies, will present a session on exits and the pitfalls to avoid.

They will cover the following topics:

· Types of exit;

· Why planning your exit is key‎

· Mistakes often made by early stage companies and how to avoid them‎

Neil and David have each spent 15-20 years advising on exit transactions, whether by IPO or trade sale. In that time, they have completed over 200 deals. They will not only discuss the technical issues facing companies, boards and investors when they exit, but also will discuss why it is important for early stage companies to avoid pitfalls which could complicate (or even prevent) a later exit.

Please aim to arrive by 6.15 pm so we can get started at 6.30 pm.

An evening not to be missed!
