Getting your innovation into the market:
An evening on MDR, DVG (Digitale Versorgung Gesetz) and Marketing (not only) for HealthCare StartUps and founders!

IMPORTANT: Pls note that this session will be mostly held in German language!

We know – you have really great ideas how to innovate healthcare, you have founded a StartUp or you are planning to do so – your head is full of ideas from medicine and technology and you are busy preparing your business plan and get funding. But wait – there is another field of action that requires your attention right from the start, and that is: regulatory affairs, options of reimbursement and access to the market via marketing.
Bringing innovation into the healthcare market is not an easy task. For this event we invited three experts to give you an idea about regulation, certification and marketing of digital innovation in the german healthcare market.
Baltasar Cevc (Attorney-at-law, “Rechtsanwalt”) will outline the regulatory landscape from the updated Medical Device Regulation (MDR) to the fresh german DVG (Digitale Versorgung Gesetz) and give you an idea how to navigate through this in your planning.
Gregor Jelen (Strategy Consultant; Expert for medical devices, regulatory affairs & market access) will present strategies to incorporate legal requirements into your business and your organizational setup; he will talk about certification, technical documentation and compliance with legal standards.
Dr. Susanne Roedel (digimeda.de, Spirit Link) will continue by outlining the field of reimbursement and marketing for innovations like DiGAs (Digitale Gesundheitsanwendungen). How can you best reach different target groups via online & offline channels?
We know – these topics can be vast, but we want to bring you up to a certain speed on the most important topics. We will cover an extensive overview with active discussion with the participants. As always, find a variety of our interdisciplinary health hacker community (physicians, caregivers, engineers, programmers, students, and hackers) to ask questions, understand and learn.
