About us
This group was formed to help inspire families and individuals to live active, healthier lives. The group hosts a diverse range of activities and is designed for married couples, families and singles of all ages. Whether your goal is to get active, lose weight, learn about healthy living, clear your mind, have fun or just meet some great new people, this group is for you.
We know DFW is HUGE and hard to get around. So, this meetup is especially for Fort Worth and surrounding areas. We have and are launching other cities around the metroplex, so if you are interested in other areas just let me know. We plan a minimum of one adventure per month and more will be added as members request them. We hope you will find a few you already enjoy and/or be willing to stretch your comfort zone. If not, please feel free to make some suggestions.

SCHLITTERBAHN DAY TRIP!
Schlitterbahn, 655 N Liberty Ave, New Braunfels, TX, USJoin us for a day trip down to Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels, TX! (approximately 3.5 hrs - depending on how you drive 😂😉).
They have closed now during the week and are only open during the weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and this is the last weekend they are open for this season. 💦
Schlitterbahn New Braunfels - Waterpark in New Braunfels, TXI have included the link above which contains ALL the information you need to know (including parking) about attending the park. You CAN bring in a cooler (no alcohol or glass containers) but it has to be smaller than the stated size on their website.
They are open from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM both Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are cheaper if you buy online: $49 + processing fees of up to $9.99 & applicable taxes. It looks like tickets can be $90 at the gate but there is a line drawn through it on their website. 🤷♀️ Just play it safe and order online. 😁My friend and I are planning on staying the night so you can either drive home or stay the night too if you would like - THIS IS TOTALLY UP TO YOU! Let me know if you want to stay and I will let you know where we are staying (apprx $75/night). If anyone decides to stay, we can have dinner afterwards and breakfast before leaving in the morning if you are up for it. 😊😎
I think this is a great opportunity to get some relief from the heat wave we have been having AND to spend some quality time with friends! I, myself, can't remember the last time I went to Schlitterbahn!! Hope you can join us!
