Heart Rhythm Meditation special intro class
Join us for an exploration of Breath and Heart. We meditate sitting in chairs to encourage a full, conscious breath. In this class we explore different topics and breath patterns, and always explore our physical experience of breath, as well as our emotions. We use the heartbeat or pulse as a grounding internal rhythm to bring awareness to our body and our inner landscape. This is a safe space to try meditation-- bring your curiosity, your challenges, and your human-ness. You may also wish to bring a cushion or pillow to sit on to adjust your chair height!

What we're about

Heart Rhythm Meditation gives us the tools to more effectively manage stress, improve health, transform relationships, and achieve meaningful accomplishments. We practice heart rhythm meditation together as a group monthly in Bakersfield, led by experienced teachers.

This group meets the second Saturday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Occasionally we have a social hour potluck brunch following meditation from noon to 1:00. Email Robin at for location details. There is no cost for this event.

A weekly guided meditation by phone each Saturday at 8:00 a.m. pacific is also available to introduce you to Heart Meditation and give you a jump start to a great weekend. Advanced meditators are also welcome. The dial in number is (515) 604-9755 followed by access code 309118#. It runs from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. each Saturday with brief conversation at the beginning and end. There is no cost for this phone meditation.
