We meet twice weekly to meditate together and support one another on the path to inner freedom.

We meditate together for twenty minutes. The meditation begins with a few words of guidance from Dana Marsh. After meditation, Dana offers a 30-minute dharma talk. You can also speak with Dana one-on-one after the practice to get further instruction on your practice.

- The CIC/Heart of the Dharma is located on the 2nd floor. Take the stairs on the right side of the building to the top floor. There is a handicapped ramp that can be accessed from the sidewalk facing Orchard St.

The practice is for those who are new to meditation as well as long-time practitioners.
Heart of the Dharma offers meditation and teachings to assist those who have an interest in overcoming their suffering and living with inner peace.
Dana Marsh is the teacher for Heart of the Dharma. She has spent many years meditating and studying the dharma and has twenty-five years of teaching experience. Ordained by Anam Thubten in the Nyingma Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. Dana teaches others the teachings of the Buddha in order to relieve beings suffering. She is the founder of Heart of the Dharma, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit, offering retreats, weekly meditation practices, and classes.

We are not meeting in person at this time. We are meeting online.
Heart of the Dharma would like you to join us for Meditation and a Dharma Talk by Dana Marsh online! Due to the threat of the coronavirus, we have temporarily suspended in-person meetings at the Compassion and Insight Center.
Instead, please plan to join us this Tuesday at 7:00 pm in our virtual meeting space where we will live stream both the meditation and teachings. We will update Meetup to let you know when we will meet in-person again.

The majority of members who attend our meetings don't RSVP on Meetup. So even if it looks like there aren't members attending, there are, and we invite you to join us as well with or without an RSVP.

Weekend Residential Retreat
Dates: September 29 - October 1, 2023
Location: Hayhurst BnB on Anderson Ranch Reservoir in Pine, Idaho. Pine is approximately a 90-minute drive from Boise.
Description
The retreat will include meditation and dharma talks by Dana Marsh on transcendent wisdom, prajnaparamita. The retreat setting will allow participants to deeply contemplate this profound topic and transform their perception.
Hayhurst Bed and Breakfast rests near the shore of Anderson Ranch Reservoir. Each room has lovely views of the mountains or lake. The environment is conducive to retreat. It is located away from our everyday concerns in a beautiful mountain setting. The lodge is modern and comfortable.
Residential retreats are extremely valuable opportunities to dive deep into meditation practice and dharma teachings. If you've attended a residential retreat you already know it's value. Don't miss this opportunity if you haven't been on a residential retreat. It really is life-changing. During breaks, participants will have opportunities to engage with the beautiful mountain environment to walk, swim, use the jacuzzi, or sauna, or simply be present enjoying the view.
Cost: $325.00
Payment includes the retreat, housing, all meals, tea, and snacks.
