Sister Lisa Marie Belz, Ursuline Sister of Cleveland
Sister Lisa Marie has presented her research at scholarly conferences both nationally and regionally. In addition to her experience as an educator, Sister Lisa Marie served on the Cleveland Latin American Mission Team in El Salvador for a number of years. She brings her experience of the developing world to her work as a scholar, teacher, writer, and speaker.
Bob Kloos, Co-Founder of Beacon Street Performing Arts
Artistic Director at Beacon Street, Bob has a strong alliance with Young Audiences of Northeast Ohio to provide bullying prevention assemblies and workshops K thru 8. Bob enjoyed post-graduate studies at Saint Mary Seminary in Cleveland and seventeen years of service in parish and campus ministry.
Alex Thompson, Buddhist practitioner, leader of ‘Be the Peace’ Meditation Flash Mob
Alex Chong Do Thompson is a former Marine who now earns his living as a Business Analyst. He splits his free time between social justice work, cycling, and deepening his meditation practice. Alex has been a Zen practitioner since 2013, and he is training to become a lay minister in the Bright Dawn Center of Oneness Buddhism.
Mrs. Uma Mullapudi, representative for the Heartfulness Institute
Uma has been a meditation trainer for 30 years and focuses on meditation in the corporate environment. As a Zonal Heartfulness coordinator, Uma was able to establish ongoing meditation sessions for organizations like Wright State University, University of Dayton, Lexus Nexus, Hospice of Dayton, Wilmer Hale Law firm, Montgomery county offices, Miami Valley hospital, Dayton Peace museum, Dayton Art Institute and more.
