LimeChain: Building an Ethereum to Hedera bridge using Scheduled Transactions

Details

For this Hedera meetup, we’re joined by Daniel Ivanov, Lead Engineer for Hedera development on the LimeChain team. Daniel’s going to dive into their recently developed Hedera to Ethereum Bridge Node Software (https://github.com/LimeChain/hedera-evm-bridge-validator) and specifically how it utilizes the newly released Scheduled Transactions capability. He’ll cover potential use cases for this bridge, as well as Scheduled Transactions, and provide a brief demonstration. There’ll be time at the end for a live Q&A to get all of your questions answered.

Speakers

Daniel Ivano - Daniel is a Blockchain Solutions Architect at LimeChain and the Tech Lead of LimeChain's Hedera Core development team. The team is working closely with the Hedera Core team for almost a year now, successfully implementing the Hedera Token Service, Scheduled Transactions, and now extending the HTS service with new NFT functionalities.

Greg Scullard - Since owning his first computer in 1981, Greg has never stopped developing software. His grandmother was very proud when his name appeared on the front cover of a computer magazine at just age 17.

Prior to joining Hedera Hashgraph as a Lead Developer Advocate, Greg spent nearly three decades working for small, medium and large software development businesses in many different roles. He was on a path to an executive career until developing two mobile apps in his own time made him realize that it was software development and working with software developers that motivated him to do great things. Hedera came along just at the right time.
