WHAT MAKES PROCTOR SPECIAL?
For over 100 years North Proctor Neighborhood has been the heart of Tacoma's North End. A vibrant, charming, pedestrian neighborhood that welcomes visitors year round. Enjoy the tree lined streets and explore one of a kind shops and restaurants.
HOW FAR WILL WE WALK?
We've mapped out a 3-mile walk with a cafe break around 3/4 of the way. We weave our way from N Junette back and forth working our way up to the business district of the Proctor District where there are coffee shops (Starbucks) etc. and we usually stop to enjoy a drink before walking directly back to our cars.
WHERE WE MEET AND PARK
This is a neighborhood where we meet, right on the corner of N Junette & 26th Street. There is plenty of parking. We try hard to all arrive at 9:15 and start walking as soon as all the RSVP ladies have arrived or at 9:30 whichever happens first.
Be brave. Don't be deterred by wind and rain. It makes walking fun and exciting. That's what they make coats, hats and umbrellas for.
