Celebrate Earth Day with Small Group Trash Cleanup

Ebenezer Church Beach Access at Jordan Lake State Park is a beautiful spot to swim, picnic and hike. You may think to find only litter from recreation here. But wind and current bring lots more stuff, flushed off the watershed from far away after every heavy rainfall. This happened in late February when the lake level rose by 16 ft.

Maximum enrollment is set at 20 so please RSVP quickly.

PLEASE NOTE the following special requirements:

• SUBMIT ONLINE LIABILITY WAIVER FORM IN ADVANCE (https://www.cleanjordanlake.org/volunteer-waiver)

• AGE RESTRICTION- at least 18 yrs old and use your judgement in accepting individual risk factors if older than 60

• FEEL WELL

• FACE MASK

• YOUR OWN WORK GLOVES OR WE PROVIDE NITRILE INSERTS TO WEAR INSSIDE OUR GLOVES

• HAND SANITIZER STATION AT MEETUP LOCATION

Clean Jordan Lake will provide:

• two leaders
  -work gloves (if needed) with nitrile inserts
• trash grabbers
• trash bags
• insect repellent
• hand sanitizer
• two group leaders
