Hi all,
We hope everyone had a great summer! It’s time for the next Helsinki Data Science Meetup. This time our host is Wärtsilä, the marine and energy giant. The meetup takes place on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Wärtsilä/Eniram premises in Lauttasaari, Itälahdenkatu 22a.
Today’s ships are equipped with a multitude of sensors and cutting-edge systems that enable the crew operate everything at peak efficiency. Wärtsilä/Eniram provides its customers with solutions that give highly accurate insights using naval architecture and state-of-the-art machine-learning algorithms. At our meetup, we will hear about these fascinating maritime data use cases, and we have also been promised a peek into Wärtsilä’s digitalization journey and the company’s vision for using Big Data and AI for building smart vessels.
Our speakers Marco Ryan, Henrik Dahl, and Antti Solonen are top-flight names in their respective areas of marine industry expertise.
