About us
Hendo Fun Friends MeetUp announces events that are many and varied in Henderson County. We do this imperfectly, but often. "Building Community one friend at a time"
Our online calendar tab is always viewable on your ‘puter or phone.
The music scene in our area is a cornucopia of varied scenes, venues and artists.
Henderson Co. also hosts many festivals and art events.
The Sloth Hiking Group is proud to be the slowest hike group in the Carolinas.
The Trail Trekkers group hikes at a cardio effective pace: 2+mph & up to 7 mile events.
We also have 2 walking groups.
Hendo Fun Friends is ‘Free’ (altho, occasionally, we ask for donations to help pay the costs of running this shin-dig.) Any requests to ‘Upgrade’ or pay for membership are unnecessary.
We welcome new ideas and venues - especially when you volunteer to Host the event!
Hendo Fun friendOur group is all-inclusive: we are single, married and widowed... rich and poor... working and retired... native born, transplants, and immigrants... residents and visitors... followers of various philosophies and religions.
New in town? You will find much to choose from.
We announce MANY events, which means you will receive MANY emails disclosing our various events. You can always change your email settings to customize how many notifications you receive. (Profile\settings\email updates)
Remember to support our local venues by purchasing beverage or food at events - and the hard-working wait staff would welcome tips. And, if the spirit moves you, show our local musicians that Hendo Fun Friends appreciates their talent - via the Tip Jar!
