Practical High-Performance .NET

In our opening meetup, we will take a practical approach toward high-performance .NET code. We will learn how to avoid some common performance pitfalls and afterward how to utilize new C# performance related features and new .NET Performance API.

First, we will dissect some common performance issues, and explore tools and techniques that can help us spot and avoid them. Afterward, we will take a look at some of the new performance-related C# features together with parts of the new .NET Performance API. We will focus on easy-to-use features that can effortlessly be incorporated into our everyday code. All examples will be taken from real-life code and backed by detailed performance measurements.

The goal of the meetup is to give us practical, easy-to-use tools and recipes that we can immediately utilize in our everyday coding.
