This is hike has all my favorites, shady, green plants, various flowers, and dozens of streams to cross. We'll start at 8:30. Cell phones have no signal in the area. We'll start at the parking lot next to the bathrooms and colorful painted dumpsters. From there we will hike 1 mile on pave road. Then we'll go under the bridge we'll cross and finish the 1.5 miles to our destination of an old campground. We'll take a break and return the way we came.

5 Miles Round Trip

Note: there is a lot of poison oak on this trail. Consider wearing long pants, or just be careful not to brush up against it. "Leaves of 3, leave them be."

Directions: From the 210 freeway exit north at Azusa Ave/CA-39 exit and drive 13 miles. DO NOT turn right onto the East Fork Bridge. Keep driving straight. Note: The parking lot is on you left hand side of the road right after you cross the bridge on Azusa 39 at the entrance of Forest Route 2N25. (West Fork Trail) Also you will see a yellow gate and a sign that says Cogswell Dam before you cross a bridge. There are two parking lots right next to each other so park your car in the parking lot and meet at the entrance. (Coordinates: 34.2428195,-117.8698674)
